Group Childbirth Classes

A Holistic Beginnings® series consists of six two hour classes which cover a specific topic. A different relaxation technique is demonstrated and practiced weekly. Strategies are offered to help minimize pain in labor, to learn to listen to the wisdom of your body, and how to conserve energy in labor so your body will work more efficiently. Classes are interactive and comprehensive, covering everything you need to know to prepare you for your labor and birth. Group class tuition is $375 per couple.

Group Refresher Course

Offered to couples who have already taken a complete childbirth series during a previous pregnancy and want a quick review of labor & birth,comfort techniques and relaxation exercises.

Private Childbirth Classes

Private accelerated classes are offered to those whose schedules preclude a full series and those on bed rest.

Typically, couples will meet for three two hour classes held during their 32nd, 34th and 36th week of pregnancy. Private class tuition is $400 per couple.

Breastfeeding Classes

This Breastfeeding Course is a comprehensive Breastfeeding class intended for those who have no experience with breastfeeding. The course also meets the 3 hour requirement for those seeking DONA certification as a birth or postpartum doula. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion.
